🗓️ Itinerary

• Day 1 Addis Ababa – Jimma – Chebera Churchura
  Fly or drive to Jimma, then continue by road to Chebera Churchura National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive surrounded by pristine wilderness.
  Overnight at Chebera Churchura Lodge or camping site.
• Day 2:Full Day Safari in Chebera Churchura
  After breakfast, enjoy a full day of game driving in this recently discovered park rich in wilderness. The park features numerous rivers, streams, and small crater lakes that support diverse wildlife. Its unique topography includes hilly terrain, rolling plains, and deep valleys, home to large mammals such as African elephants, hippopotamuses, Cape buffalo, lions, and leopards, along with colorful bird species like Trogons and Turacos. Chebera Churchura is one of the best places to view elephants and buffalo in their natural habitat.

• Day 3 Chebera – Keffa Biosphere Reserve
  After breakfast, drive to Bonga, the heart of the Keffa Biosphere Reserve recognized by UNESCO as the birthplace of Arabica coffee. Visit traditional coffee farms, explore forest trails, and meet local coffee farmers who continue the ancient traditions of Ethiopian coffee cultivation.
  Overnight in Bonga..
• Day 4 Keffa – Gambela via Wush Wush Tea Plantation & Illubabor Biosphere Reserve
  Journey through lush green landscapes, stopping at the Wush Wush Tea Plantation and the Illubabor Biosphere Reserve. Continue the scenic drive to Gambela, a region known for its vast plains and rich biodiversity.
  Overnight in Gambella.
• Day 5: Full Day Game Drive in Gambela National Park
  Spend the day on safari in Gambela National Park, exploring its wide savannahs and wetlands. Look out for white-eared kob, elephants, giraffes, and numerous bird species. The park offers one of the most authentic wildlife experiences in Ethiopia.
  Overnight in Gambella.
• Day 6: Baro River & Departure
  In the morning, visit the Baro River, a tranquil waterway central to Gambela’s ecosystem and culture. Afterwards, transfer to Gambela Airport for your departure flight back to Addis Ababa, marking the end of your unforgettable southwest Ethiopian adventure.
